Path of Exile 2 to introduce Wildwood and Abyss Canyon
Path of Exile 2 prepares for a major leap with the new Forbidden Ritual event and fresh endgame content including Wildwood and Abyss Canyon.
Path of Exile 2 is preparing for a major leap forward with the introduction of the Forbidden Ritual.

According to Kakao Games and Grinding Gear Games on the 5th, the Forbidden Ritual is a new event based on existing ritual content that allows players to develop characters from the ground up. Players can defeat enemies at ritual altars in various regions to earn offering points, which can be exchanged for essential character growth rewards, including crafting currency and various pieces of gear.
The reward system is also being revamped to ensure that each party member can individually earn offering points and rewards during cooperative play.
Alongside this, new endgame content, Wildwood and Abyss Canyon, will be added. Players can enter the Wildwood using Sacred Flowers obtained by completing ritual content, where they can collect various types of Will-o'-the-wisps to secure higher-tier rewards.
In Abyss Canyon, players will explore the canyon by defeating Abyss Legions, ultimately facing the Abyss Boss at the final stage to obtain unique equipment.
Furthermore, league-exclusive cosmetic rewards, such as the Wildwood Guardian pet and Hideout Statues, will be available for playing the game and completing specific achievements.
Various system reworks and the integration of content into the core game are also underway. First, the Chaos Ordeal content will be revamped to allow players to pause an ordeal and resume it later, alongside the addition of new attribute enchants and rewards.
Additionally, the existing Aldur's Rune League content will be integrated into the core game, allowing players to access Aldur's Rune content starting from Campaign Act 4.
