Com2uS unveils Gachiakuta: BREAKOUT at TGS 2026

Com2uS has officially announced its entry into the console market with Gachiakuta: BREAKOUT.

According to Com2uS on the 18th, the company has confirmed the official title of its new console and PC title based on the anime Gachiakuta as Gachiakuta: BREAKOUT, revealing a gameplay trailer during the TGS 2026 Xbox Showcase.

Gachiakuta: BREAKOUT is a survival action RPG based on the globally acclaimed anime Gachiakuta. The game is being developed for console and PC, bringing the series' unique cartoon-style graphics, distinct art style, and the dynamic combat of its colorful characters to life.

The trailer showcases the high-speed combat and the journey of pushing past limits—embodying the title 'BREAKOUT'—as characters engage in relentless action to overcome danger and face powerful foes.

The video features key characters including Ludo, Engine, ZANCA, and Riyo, each demonstrating diverse combat styles and weaponry. The footage also reveals a boss battle where players control ZANCA to face Jaba, highlighting a combat system that demands quick judgment and proactive movement to dodge fierce attacks and exploit openings.

Alongside the trailer, Com2uS launched the official brand site for Gachiakuta: BREAKOUT. The site features the official logo, the debut gameplay trailer, and other game-related information.

Gachiakuta: BREAKOUT is scheduled for release in 2027 on XBOX Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Steam.
