Yun Machi and Nerd Connection to bring K-indie to Indonesia

The power of Korean indie music is heading to Indonesia. Ahead of their upcoming performances, Yun Machi (MRCH), Nerd Connection, can’t be blue, and Silly Silky have released live performances showcasing their unique musical identities.

The series is being held as part of 'Korea Spotlight 2026 × MUSE ON @ Indonesia.' The performances will be split between two cities: Jakarta and Bali. In Jakarta, the stage will be set at M Bloc Space on August 27, 2026, followed by performances at the Jimbaran Hub (AXEAN Festival) in Bali from August 29 to 30.

A musical journey from Jakarta to Bali

The released playlist features representative songs and live videos from the four acts. Yun Machi showcased a singular vocal tone through 'Surrender' and 'Color It,' while Nerd Connection recreated their signature lyrical band sound with 'Good Night, Good Dreams' and 'Life Dancing.' can’t be blue demonstrated their musical spectrum through 'take it anymore' and 'In the Words Said to Be Love,' and Silly Silky showcased their range with 'Free Up' and 'Try! (Intro) + Youthful Kids.'

These videos are curated to allow viewers to witness the artists' musical trajectories at a glance, alternating between recent performances and past MUSE ON stage recordings. Yun Machi's 'Surrender' features footage from a 2023 MUSE ON stage, while Nerd Connection's 'Good Night, Good Dreams' captures a 2021 performance, visually connecting the artists' growth over time.

The power of K-indie to captivate Indonesian audiences

The performances will take place at iconic locations: M Bloc Space in Jakarta and Jimbaran Hub in Bali. This provides a prime opportunity to deliver high-quality live sets from Korean indie artists directly to local fans. Featuring diverse tracklists—including can’t be blue's 'take it anymore' from their 2025 MUSE ON stage—the lineup is poised to build significant anticipation among the local audience.

This tour, spanning Jakarta and Bali, is expected to expand the reach of Korean music further into Southeast Asia. The main draw will be seeing how each artist's unique stage production and live prowess are reinterpreted for the Indonesian stage.
