WOODZ Is Captivated by Melbourne’s Colors: “The Perfect Orange”

WOODZ was deeply impressed by Melbourne’s cultural atmosphere. He expressed his appreciation for the city’s overall mood and its lived-in sense of everyday life, paying particular attention to traveling by tram and to the distinctive colors that shaped the urban landscape.

Melbourne’s buildings made an especially strong impression on him. When he encountered one of the city’s architectural colors, WOODZ could not hide his admiration, calling it “the perfect orange I imagine.” His reaction showed how closely he was observing the visual character of the city rather than merely passing through it as a tourist.

The sunset at dusk became a particular highlight of the journey. Watching its colors appear and pass within a fleeting moment, WOODZ described it as “a moment that relieves the fatigue of a 12-hour flight.” The brief sight of the evening sky was powerful enough to make the long journey feel worthwhile.

As he looked at the beautiful sunset, WOODZ also reflected that it was “like youth.” The comparison captured his awareness that both youth and a sunset can seem to pass in the blink of an eye. Looking across the scenery illuminated by the fading light, he jokingly remarked, “I could use this as an album cover someday,” revealing the artistic sensibility with which he viewed the moment.

Cheerful Days in Sydney and a Record of Youth

After Melbourne, the journey continued in Sydney. WOODZ recorded the pleasure of traveling by showing his meals and the city’s street scenes without embellishment. The vlog cheerfully followed him as he enjoyed a flat white and local food and explored graffiti-covered alleyways.

The trip also provided a setting for WOODZ to speak about his evolving music. He mentioned that his musical style was moving toward the house genre, connecting the changing color of his music with the atmosphere he encountered while traveling. The city’s visual character and the direction of his music came together naturally in the way he experienced and documented the journey.

Throughout the video, WOODZ created a playful atmosphere with his companions, filling another page of youth through their time together. Reflecting once more on how quickly moments pass, he said, “Like the sunset, I also pass by in the blink of an eye.” His words conveyed the value of the fleeting experiences that can feel especially vivid during a journey.

WOODZ also explained why he chose to hold the camera and record the trip himself. Calling it “the best to carry around,” he emphasized the convenience of keeping the camera in hand. That direct method allowed him to preserve the journey’s lively energy while capturing the meals, streets, conversations and passing scenery as he experienced them.
