Nam Gyu-ri delivers emotional resonance with 'Let's Do That Kind of Love'
Actress and singer Nam Gyu-ri returns with a soulful new single, 'Let's Do That Kind of Love Part.1,' featuring delicate vocals and cinematic visuals.
Actress and singer Nam Gyu-ri has returned with a new song filled with lyrical melodies and deep emotion. The music video for 'Let's Do That Kind of Love Part.1' harmonizes Nam's signature delicate vocals with cinematic visuals that maximize the track's atmosphere.

The new song achieved high production quality through a collaboration between lyricist EIRON and composers Park Keun-tae and Kim Soobin (AIMING). The arrangement was handled by Kim Soobin (AIMING) and Im Su-hyeok (AIMING), with meticulously designed piano, guitar, bass, drums, and string sounds supporting the song's narrative.
Deep immersion through sophisticated instrumentation
The song's sound layers are extremely dense. The piano and MIDI programming led by Kim Soobin and Im Su-hyeok hold the center of the track, while Song Hyeon-jong's guitar, Jo Se-hee's bass, and Eun Ju-hyeon's drums create a rich sense of rhythm. In particular, the string sounds featuring Im Su-hyeok amplify the characteristic sorrow of a ballad, driving auditory immersion.
In this track, Nam showcases a vocal style that is understated yet deeply appealing. Because the instrumentation focuses on conveying emotion rather than flashiness, the inherent power of the lyrics and melody is revealed even more clearly.
An organic blend of visuals and music
The music video, directed by ZeO, focuses on visually implementing the emotions within the music. The composition, which shifts with the flow of the song, visualizes the texture of Nam's voice and extends the track's lingering resonance. The movements of the dancers, directed by choreographer Yu-an, also serve to complete the song's atmosphere.
This new song goes beyond a simple music release; it is a work that once again proves Nam's musical spectrum. As this is released as Part 1, attention is focused on how this track will shape the narrative of her upcoming musical journey.
