Cortis surpasses 15 million Instagram followers within one year of debut
K-pop group Cortis hits 15 million Instagram followers, becoming the fastest K-pop group in five years to reach the milestone following Lollapalooza.
The group Cortis has surpassed 15 million SNS followers in less than one year since their debut. The official Instagram account for Cortis—consisting of Martin, James, Juhoon, Seonghyeon, and An Keon-ho—recorded 15 million followers on the 5th. This milestone was achieved approximately one year after the group posted their first content last August. Cortis is the only K-pop group to have debuted within the last five years to surpass 15 million Instagram followers.

Their influence across platforms is also overwhelming. As of 10:00 AM on the 8th, they have 15.82 million TikTok followers and 6.24 million YouTube subscribers. This is also the highest figure among K-pop boy groups that have debuted within the last five years. Reaching 15 million Instagram followers places them within the top 50 entertainers worldwide.
Fandom surges following Lollapalooza Chicago stage
The rise in Cortis's SNS metrics is linked to their performance success in North America. On August 1 (local time), Cortis took the stage at the major American music festival Lollapalooza Chicago, performing live before an audience of 50,000. Immediately following the performance, follower counts on major platforms, including Instagram, surged.
Their global music release chart performance also provides support. The title track 'REDRED' from their 2nd mini-album ranked 189th on the Spotify 'Weekly Top Songs Global' chart (aggregated from July 31 to August 6). This song has remained on the global charts for 15 consecutive weeks. Their influence continues in the Korean market, where it has held the 1st place position on the 'Weekly Top Songs Korea' chart for 15 weeks. On the US Billboard charts, as of August 8, the song successfully entered the charts for the 14th consecutive week, ranking 109th on the 'Global 200' and 63rd on 'Global (Excl. US)'.
Schedule spanning from North American tour to Japanese festivals
Cortis is currently conducting a North American tour titled '2026 CORTIS TOUR [PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN] IN NORTH AMERICA'. This tour, which visits six North American cities including Atlanta and Los Angeles, continues until the 16th.
Their stage will expand to Asia. Furthermore, their appearance at the 'Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix' to be held in Singapore on October 9 has been confirmed.
