First MV shoot in Japan features a concept shift

In the video, the members noted that this music video marks their first project filmed in Japan. Unlike their previous videos, which often featured desert landscapes or a rugged atmosphere, the members explained that because "Mark on Me" is a song about love, the shoot took place in romantic locations. One member remarked, "It is a music video with an atmosphere we haven't had many chances to film before," asking fans to look forward to a new side of the group. While filming at a luxurious building, the members even expressed curiosity about whether the location was originally a wedding hall.

Unit choreography, freestyle, and collaboration with ballerinas

The production involved various creative directions. The members filmed choreography in units and even captured unplanned freestyle dance segments. One member shared that they were initially worried about having to freestyle during their individual part, but expressed happiness that the result turned out well. Notably, ballerinas participated in the music video, performing alongside the members. One member described the process, saying, "We filmed parts where I make gestures while the ballerinas dance beautifully." Additionally, the shoot included intro acting scenes and individual shots to maintain the song's flow. One member revealed that during these individual shots, they followed the feeling of the moment rather than pre-planning their gestures.

Three days of filming reveal a more mature side

The filming took place over three days. Starting with individual parts on the first day, the group moved to a desert setting in all-black outfits on the second day, before concluding the shoot on the final day at a location resembling a theater. The members expressed anticipation that this shoot will allow them to showcase a more grown-up and mature image. At the end of the video, the members concluded with a greeting, saying, "Please show a lot of interest in the new side of &TEAM."
