aespa pursues choreography perfection for 'Serenade'
aespa focuses on fine-tuning every angle and timing for their new songs 'Serenade' and 'Lollipop' to achieve a flawless performance.
aespa continued their intense efforts in the practice room to perfect the choreography for their new releases. During rehearsals for the songs 'Serenade' and 'Lollipop,' the members focused on creating a flawless performance by meticulously adjusting the angle and timing of every single movement.

"Make it cooler" — aespa's attention to detail
Throughout the rehearsal process, the members constantly exchanged ideas to capture the intended mood of the choreography. To find the optimal movements for the songs' atmospheres, they debated specific sections, emphasizing nuances such as "making it a bit cooler" or "a cooler feeling rather than just popping the hips." Repeated corrections were made for even the smallest details, such as the positioning of hands or movements touching the floor.
The members precisely coordinated their formations and timing to maintain the flow of the dance. In sections where two members cross paths, they exchanged detailed guidance, such as, "you must turn sexily while your body is tilted." Whenever movements overlapped or collided, they immediately adjusted their positions to ensure the choreography remained seamless.
"The hands should only touch" — Endless repetition for a perfect ending
The members also deliberated deeply while deciding on the ending poses that conclude the performance. Discussions continued regarding whether the ending should be "finished simply" or how best to wrap it up. In particular, considering the members' long legs, they worked to find the best composition under the specific constraint that "the hands should only touch.'
Toward the end of practice, they checked the level of perfection by adjusting the tempo. By controlling the sense of speed—such as, "let's start slowly and finish by walking quickly"—they infused the song's narrative arc into the choreography. Even amidst repetitive movements and heavy breathing, the members did not stop practicing to find the movements that could best reveal the unique color of the songs.
