Paldo implements AI autonomous manufacturing at Naju plant
Paldo integrates 'Physical AI' technology at its Naju plant to automate production, monitor quality, and boost manufacturing efficiency.
| NBNTV = Jeong Chang-gyu | Paldo announced on the 19th that it will implement an AI-based autonomous manufacturing system at its Naju plant in Jeonnam, a core facility for producing its flagship products.

The newly introduced system enhances production efficiency by analyzing real-time field data. Notably, the system utilizes 'Physical AI' technology, which allows the AI to independently assess on-site conditions and directly control production equipment. This enables the system to predict noodle thickness during the manufacturing process and monitor key components like moisture levels, drastically reducing quality deviations.
Worker intervention during equipment operation will also be minimized. Previously, workers had to manually adjust settings whenever a product line changed; now, product-specific parameters switch automatically, shortening operation times and increasing productivity.
This initiative is being conducted as part of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' 'AI Applied Product Rapid Commercialization Support Project.'
Park Su-deuk, head of the Paldo Naju plant, emphasized, "We are focusing on minimizing production errors. By introducing AI, we will deliver high-quality ramen that consumers can trust."
