Cuckoo Chicken Farm's 'Seokbotteul Baekuran' eggs hit 2,760% of funding goal

NBNTV = Reporter Ju Hyeon-ung | Agricultural corporation Cuckoo Chicken Farm announced that its Naver Happybean crowdfunding project for 'Seokbotteul Baekuran', its free-range native chicken eggs, achieved 2,760% of its target amount.

The final amount raised in this funding was recorded at 13,804,700 won. Cuckoo Chicken Farm launched this project to inform consumers about the production process and rearing environment of native chicken eggs and to secure new sales channels.

Seokbotteul Baekuran are fertilized eggs laid by native chickens raised through free-range farming near Ilwol Mountain in Yeongyang County. The first and second certified healing agriculture specialists in Yeongyang County manage the chicken rearing and egg production processes.

The product is marked with rearing environment number 1, indicating that the laying hens were raised in an environment where they can roam freely in outdoor pastures.

Cuckoo Chicken Farm explained that it raises native chickens by feeding them organic feed that excludes Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO). Seokbotteul Baekuran has received antibiotic-free livestock certification and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) certification, and has also obtained recognition as native livestock from the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.

Based on these funding results, the company plans to expand the production base for native chicken eggs. It also intends to strengthen cooperation in providing the technology and facilities necessary for native chicken rearing and egg production by linking with local farms in Yeongyang County.

The goal is to share production management experience and rearing techniques with local farms and to create a foundation for the stable production and distribution of native chicken eggs, thereby connecting them to new sources of income for the farms.
