Binggrae Launches After-Meal Care Water to Support Healthy Daily Habits

Binggrae announced on the 27th that it has launched After-Meal Care Water, a functionally labeled food containing an ingredient associated with blood sugar management.

The new product contains banaba leaf extract, which is known as an ingredient that may help suppress increases in blood sugar after meals. Binggrae developed the beverage to make it easier for consumers to incorporate healthy after-meal care habits into their everyday routines.

Each bottle contains 64 mg of banaba leaf extract, the product's key ingredient. Binggrae blended the ingredients using a process designed by the company itself, applying its own formulation approach to the new beverage.

After-Meal Care Water is made without sugar, artificial coloring, or preservatives. This three-free formulation is intended to make the drink an easy choice, while its distinctively bitter yet clean matcha flavor provides a refreshing finish after a meal and helps clear away lingering richness or a dry, coated sensation in the mouth.

The beverage comes in a portable, easy-to-drink 500 mL PET bottle. With 15 kcal and 0 g of sugar, it can be consumed conveniently after meals wherever consumers may be. Its water-style format is designed to help people maintain an after-meal care routine naturally, even during a busy day.

The product is scheduled to be sold through major online channels, including Coupang and Kurly. Binggrae also plans to continue expanding the number of ways consumers can encounter and purchase it.

As consumer interest in healthy eating habits and blood sugar management continues to grow, Binggrae plans to expand its range of health-oriented beverages with more functionally labeled foods that people can enjoy comfortably in daily life.
