Seo Jang-hoon, "This is not a situation to waste emotions on"... Direct advice to a participant dreaming of opening a cafe
Broadcaster Seo Jang-hoon gave cold, realistic advice to a participant on the JTBC variety program 'Love War' regarding their spending habits and future business plans. He warned the participant that opening a cafe is not a romantic endeavor but a "hell" and suggested focusing on their own lives rather than continuing a relationship under current circumstances.
Broadcaster Seo Jang-hoon delivered cold-headed advice to a participant lacking realistic economic sense. In a highlight video of the JTBC variety program 'Love War', Seo Jang-hoon pointed out the participant's spending habits and future plans, delivering sincere advice.
"800,000 won for hair costs out of 5 million won total assets"... Pointing out spending habits
In the video, the participant revealed that they spent approximately 800,000 won on hair styling and mentioned that they have used a total of about 5 million won on hair-related costs so far. Regarding this, Seo Jang-hoon questioned whether it is appropriate to spend 800,000 won on a single hair appointment in a situation where the participant's total assets are 5 million won. The participant mentioned costs including their father's hair and bleaching, but Seo Jang-hoon reacted by expressing curiosity as to whether it is right to spend 800,000 won on hair costs while having a total of 5 million won in assets.
"Opening a cafe is not romance, it is hell"... A realistic warning
Upon hearing the participant's wish to start a cafe, Seo Jang-hoon expressed realistic concerns. Seo Jang-hoon mentioned that cafes are the most common type of business among self-employed people in our country and asked if they could endure among so many cafes. When the participant showed confidence, claiming they could do well based on the know-how gained while working as a part-timer and manager, Seo Jang-hoon warned of reality by mentioning his experience of a cafe failing. Seo Jang-hoon explained that when a cafe is empty, it may look romantic because of the good scent or because people might be seen engaging in self-development, but once it becomes one's own business and rent must be paid, it is truly hell.
"Now is not the time to date"... Life that must be prioritized over love
Seo Jang-hoon also delivered a cold evaluation regarding the relationship of the participant couple. He made remarks to the effect that there was nothing to judge as the two people being a good match, and he questioned why on earth they are meeting. Considering the current economic situation and lack of mental leeway, he diagnosed that it feels as if they are forcing the relationship to continue, and that dating in such a situation is unreasonable. Seo Jang-hoon concluded his advice by emphasizing, "There is no reason for you two to waste emotions right now," and "It is more important to find your own lives than love."
