SaveTax launches rectification claim service for unclaimed tax credits
Tax tech platform SaveTax introduces an AI-driven service to help taxpayers recover missed credits for housing, rent, and donations.
NBNTV = Reporter Joo Hyeon-ung | SaveTax, a tax technology platform, is launching a rectification claim agency service designed to help taxpayers recover missed tax credits for expenses such as housing funds, monthly rent, or donations that were overlooked due to a lack of familiarity with tax laws.

The service comprehensively covers three major tax categories—comprehensive income tax, capital gains tax, and comprehensive real estate tax—covering the last five years, provided the legal claim periods have not yet expired.
Previously, taxpayers faced administrative hurdles, needing to navigate various government websites or individual mobile apps to identify overpaid taxes. SaveTax has streamlined this process by consolidating scattered taxation data into a single platform, allowing users to identify and manage overpaid tax amounts with a single execution.
The calculation process utilizes a tax analysis AI algorithm developed in collaboration with the technical advisory team at Sunyoung Accounting Corporation. Once the AI system generates a primary settlement draft based on electronic data, professional personnel from Sunyoung Accounting Corporation perform a manual verification step to cross-check the calculations, ensuring high precision in tax processing.
The platform is designed to assist with asset settlement for various professionals, including wage earners with limited time for tax management, as well as freelancers and the self-employed.
“We have established a safety net for the service by merging electronic processing technology with verification procedures by state-certified experts,” a SaveTax official explained. “We will continue to bolster our tax analysis infrastructure to expand our scope, ensuring taxpayers can exercise their legitimate refund rights without being hindered by complex requirements.”
