"I learned by copying every single song," O3ohn's fan heart toward So Soo Bin

In a video on the official STONE MUSIC YouTube channel 'Senior Research Society', singer-songwriter O3ohn did not hide his fan heart for So Soo Bin. Regarding So Soo Bin, O3ohn stated, "I have admired So Soo Bin's songs to the point where I feel very proud after becoming a singer," and revealed, "I copied every single one of So Soo Bin's songs." He added that he continued practicing out of a desire to capture and learn So Soo Bin's voice.

The two, who are members of the same agency, had a place to share deep conversations for the first time through this appearance. O3ohn expressed friendliness, mentioning that he came to this place with 'personal motives' to get close to So Soo Bin. O3ohn shared that he had been constantly hearing from friends to get close to So Soo Bin, and that today's gathering served as an opportunity to become close.

So Soo Bin releases first full-length album 'As It Has Always Been' after 10 years since debut

As of the filming date, So Soo Bin released his first full-length album 'As It Has Always Been' for the first time in 10 years since his debut. In the video, So Soo Bin explained this album by saying, "I felt it was time to talk about age, so I poured in the stories I had been saving and the process of my twenty-one-year-old self coming up to Seoul to become a singer." The album contains a total of 11 songs, and So Soo Bin participated in the work for all tracks.

So Soo Bin conveyed the atmosphere of the songs by personally singing a verse of the double title tracks, 'Don't Tell Me to Go' and 'I Should Have Told You It Was Okay'. In particular, during the process of singing 'Don't Tell Me to Go', a scene occurred where the song was interrupted due to breath control, but the cast members responded that it was actually a natural phrase. Meanwhile, So Soo Bin shared his recent news, stating that after announcing his marriage news recently, the sense of responsibility gained through marriage is acting as a catalyst for him to live more diligently.

"Music is the process of embodying life," the musical inspiration of two singer-songwriters

Regarding the source of musical inspiration, the two both cited 'attitude toward life' in common. O3ohn said, "Inspiration is always everywhere, and the things I see, eat, and live through go into the music," and added, "Rather than struggling to get inspiration, it is important to ask whether one is 'living with sensibility'." He expressed the process of listening to a single song hundreds of times to absorb a good song as 'embodiment'. He added that he enjoys the process of staining himself with good phrases or the traces of good people.

So Soo Bin also showed a similar perspective. As singer-songwriters who mainly contain their own stories, they empathized on the point that the process of putting traces of daily life into music is similar. Meanwhile, O3ohn mentioned his firm taste and humorously revealed his own musical standard close to 'Hongdae disease', saying, "I first begin to doubt whether what is recommended by the algorithm is truly what I like." He explained that for every photo that pops up via the algorithm, he first doubts whether this is what people like or what he likes.
