KYEHOON, the leader of the group KickFlip, showcased his unexpected vocal capabilities and witty conversation skills. Appearing on the KBS Kpop channel content 'Lee Mujin Service', KYEHOON engaged in conversations on various topics, from behind-the-scenes stories of his new song production to the nicknames given to him by fans.

"Beautiful Completion"... The worries of the 20s contained in the new song 'Unfinished'

KYEHOON revealed that he directly participated in 'Unfinished', one of the double title tracks of this album 'Kick Off the World Part One'. In the video, he explained that he personally suggested the theme during the song camp, saying, "While doing the song camp, I wanted to use the 'Mi' from 'Unfinished' as the character for 'beautiful' (美), to convey the meaning of a beautiful completion no matter what is done," and noted that this idea was adopted to become the title track.

Regarding the message of the song, he stated, "It contains the dawn of being 20 years old, worries, and anxiety about the future felt by the KickFlip members who are in their early 20s." He added, "The entire album consists of a positive theme of 'we can do it'." Furthermore, he introduced that 'Kick Off the World', another double title track of this album, contains an intense performance about breaking through and overcoming the anxious dawn.

Between 'Thunder Tiger' and 'Cotton Candy'... Two vocal colors

KYEHOON revealed his musical spectrum while mentioning the vocal nicknames given to him by fans. Acknowledging that he is called 'Thunder Tiger vocal' due to his rasping singing style, he performed SILICA GEL's 'No Pain', a song he has been practicing under the influence of rock music he has been enjoying listening to lately. Having handled the song with an intense tone, he stated, "I really like rock." He also mentioned his own style, saying that instead of saying "Make some noise" when inducing a response, he should say "Make".

On the other hand, he explained that he also has the nickname 'Cotton Candy vocal' because of his sweet singing depending on the song's atmosphere. Saying, "My personality is cotton candy, but my singing is a thunder tiger," he showed a twist charm by reinterpreting and singing 'Everyday Every Night' in a sweet style. He added that unlike his trainee days when he focused on intensive practice, he is currently making music in a direction that highlights his individuality.

The composure of a 'Flirting Master' created by 9 years of trainee experience

KYEHOON, who is usually called a 'Flirting Master', said that such ability has naturally become part of him. He explained, "I lived as a trainee for about 9 years," and "Naturally, social life became ingrained in me, and my specialty became saying a single word to loosen the atmosphere." He revealed that rather than practicing separately to develop this talent, he tends to update himself by watching dramas.

In particular, in response to a question about how to handle different age groups, he showed wit by saying, "I call everyone older than me 'Noona'," and drew laughter from the scene by answering that if they are younger than him, he would call them "Baby". Meanwhile, as this appearance coincided with KYEHOON's birthday on September 16, he shared his feeling that "this appearance feels like a birthday present."
