BTS had a time revealing the intimacy between members by summoning past memories in Toronto, Canada. According to the released video, the members enjoyed various games themed around a picnic in Toronto.
Reunion in Toronto, Memories of Past Fan Meetings and Dormitory Life
The members reminisced about past activities while visiting Toronto. In the conversation within the video, the members mentioned their experiences of visiting Toronto in the past for fan meetings and performances. In particular, they shared episodes from the days they lived together in their former dormitory while playing song guessing games, revealing that they took those memories as the theme for this Toronto picnic. The members defined this schedule as a 'picnic' and explained that they arranged this gathering for a different kind of activity outside of concerts.
The members recalled the days when they had to stand in line and wait to guess songs at their past Toronto accommodation. In the video, they shared their lifestyle at the dormitory back then, saying they could only come in to sleep after guessing the songs correctly.
From Duck Duck Goose to 'Kkaburi Zone', a Feast of Modified Traditional Games
During the picnic game time, rules that modified existing games appeared. In the first game, 'Duck Duck Goose' (Sugeon Dolligi), a rule was presented where one carries a towel and passes behind a specific member while pretending not to notice. The game proceeded in a way where if the member holding the towel points to a specific person, that person must stand up and chase them.
The following game was 'Kkaburi Zone', an updated version of 'Red Light, Green Light' (Mugunghwa kkochi pieotseumnida). In the video, a rule was introduced where if someone shouts "Kim Nam-joon flower has bloomed," people must perform a specific motion of Nam-joon. They must perform the designated movement, and if they fail to do so, they are eliminated.
In addition to this, various activities were planned, such as 'Jaegichagi' as a penalty and 'Pickleball' which is scheduled to take place after all the schedules are finished. The members composed these rules to add to the joy of the picnic.
Members Returning to Childhood Innocence
As the games progressed, the members showed themselves struggling to follow the rules. During the 'Red Light, Green Light' game, noisy situations continued while performing specific movements, and in the video, a reaction such as "This is childhood innocence" appeared.
