YouTuber JG builds LEGO Quinjet ahead of Avengers: Doomsday release
YouTuber JG reviewed three new Marvel series LEGO sets provided by LEGO Korea, highlighting features connected to the upcoming MCU film 'Avengers: Doomsday'.

YouTuber JG assembled a 433-piece LEGO Quinjet in 79 minutes to preview upcoming Marvel products ahead of the December release of Avengers: Doomsday. The build, supported by LEGO Korea, features a functional gimmick that allows the aircraft's wings to expand and fire bullets.
For LEGO fans, the arrival of new products is a moment of excitement that goes beyond a simple hobby. Through three new Marvel series products received from LEGO Korea, YouTuber JG previewed the upcoming new phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Details of the three new products connected to December's 'Avengers: Doomsday'
The new products provided by LEGO Korea consist of a series commemorating the Marvel film 'Avengers: Doomsday', which is set to be released in December. The product line includes a total of three items: the four-story 'New Avengers Tower' (954 pieces), 'Clash' (846 pieces) featuring a giant X-Men robot, and the 'Quinjet' (433 pieces), the dedicated aircraft of the Avengers. A notable feature of all three products is that the film villain 'Doctor Doom' is hidden within them.

While examining the products, JG highlighted their cinematic context. He particularly noted the setting where Iron Man (played by Robert Downey Jr.) returns as Doctor Doom wearing a mask, revealing the weight this series carries for Marvel fans. The Avengers Tower includes various minifigures such as Doctor Doom, Yelena, Red, Sentry, and Human Torch, offering details that stimulate fans' desire to collect. The 'Clash' product related to the X-Men series features Sentinel, Soul, Thor, and Magneto, capturing the characteristics of X-Men through wire details on the head parts and a gimmick where the face changes like a Bian Lian mask.
433 pieces of concentration: Completing the 'Quinjet' gimmick in 79 minutes
Among the three products, JG chose the 433-piece 'Quinjet' to increase the immersion of the assembly process. This assembly showcases a configuration where four characters—Cyclops, Captain America, The Thing, and Human Torch—come together. The assembly took a total of 1 hour and 19 minutes.

During the assembly process, an unexpected situation occurred when one piece could not be found. JG expressed embarrassment by recalling past experiences, but he continued the assembly, focusing on completing the figures that capture the characters' traits. In particular, the core of the Quinjet lay in its "gimmick" that goes beyond simple shape implementation. The completed Quinjet is designed with a function to fire bullets when a button is pressed, and its structure, featuring a cockpit inside and expanding wings, allows for the reproduction of flight scenes from the movie. Inside the Quinjet, The Thing is depicted touching a machine, and it is possible to stage a scene where Captain America jumps as the wings expand.
After finishing the assembly, JG indirectly reproduced cinematic direction through the sight of the Quinjet's wings expanding and the characters appearing. He emphasized the joy of meticulous assembly, stating, "If you build it too quickly, it's a waste of money," while expressing satisfaction with the detailed operating methods of the products.
Experiences of lost parts and a LEGO enthusiast's assembly philosophy
JG built rapport with LEGO fans by mentioning past experiences of being unable to find parts during assembly. He shared an anecdote about the LEGO service system, noting that when he had lost parts in the past, he provided the serial numbers via email and received support from Denmark within a week. He specifically recalled receiving the two necessary parts from Denmark at that time.
Additionally, he explained that for products with a high piece count, a single bag is very thick and large, requiring enough space to fill a table during assembly. He mentioned that for products like the Star Wars Millennium Falcon, opening just one bag could fill three tables. He showed a commitment to meticulous assembly to meet the promised time, saying, "It's not fun if you rush to build it like this." He particularly felt the scale of the product while checking the thickness of the instruction manual, which reaches 145 pages.
"Never stop play"... A gift event for fans
This video concluded with communication with fans, going beyond a simple product review. Through this content, which is being conducted with the support of LEGO Korea, JG announced an event for fans who leave comments expressing their affection for Marvel characters. Through a drawing, the Quinjet aircraft introduced this time or the yet-to-be-revealed 'New Avengers Tower' will be given as gifts to participants.
JG concluded the journey of the video with the message "Never stop play," expressing anticipation for 'Avengers: Doomsday' to be released in December.
