Actors Kim Young-kwang and Chae Soo-bin revealed the special romantic setting and their first impressions of each other to be presented through the drama 'Take Charge of My Heart'.

In a video released on the YouTube channel 'Yoo In Radio' on the 30th, Kim Young-kwang and Chae Soo-bin, as the cast members, explained the drama's plot and character traits in detail. Through the drama 'Take Charge of My Heart', the two teased a tingling romantic comedy as they meet as 'Baek Ho-rang', a man with an artificial heart, and 'Na Bo-bae', a woman through whom electric current flows.

In the video, Kim Young-kwang introduced his character 'Baek Ho-rang', saying, "As a third-generation chaebol, he is preparing for succession, but he is a person whose battery constantly runs low because he has an artificial heart." He continued to explain that 'Na Bo-bae', played by Chae Soo-bin, is "a drama writer with a secret that electric current flows through her body after being struck by lightning as a child." Bo-bae, a writer, is struggling because she cannot write romance well, and one day, while leaving the broadcasting station, she accidentally bumps lips with Baek Ho-rang, meeting a person through whom electricity does not flow for the first time.

The two also mentioned the unique 'charging method' in the drama. Kim Young-kwang said, "Being close to Na Bo-bae results in a charge," adding, "If you are within 10cm, it goes up by 1%, if you hold hands, 5%, and if you hug, it goes up by 10%." In particular, the setting that "when mucous membranes touch, it becomes a full charge" was mentioned, carrying the romantic atmosphere of the work.

The core conflict of the drama lies in the time limit. Kim Young-kwang explained the process where the two enter into a contract for their respective purposes during this period, stating, "The time remaining until Baek Ho-rang's re-operation and the time remaining until Bo-bae completes her script is exactly 3 months." Kim Young-kwang added that as Bo-bae experiences romance vicariously through the contract to develop her imagination, he ends up playing a role like a bodyguard serving Bo-bae.

She added, "Because he has great physicality and isn't the style to approach warmly, I thought he was a scary person." However, as filming progressed, she showed a twist by saying, "As it turns out, he is such a warm person," and that she is no longer scared.
