Etiverse signs Zscaler distribution deal to boost Zero Trust security

Etiverse, a specialist in AI infrastructure and digital transformation (DX), is expanding its Zero Trust security business following a master distribution agreement with global cloud security firm Zscaler.

Through this agreement, Etiverse will supply Zscaler's cloud-native Zero Trust security solutions to Korean enterprises and institutions. The company also plans to leverage its existing partner network to expand support activities, including new partner recruitment, sales and technical support, training, and marketing.

As corporate cloud migration and the use of Software as a Service (SaaS) expand—coupled with the rise of remote/hybrid work environments and AI-based services—traditional security systems centered on network perimeters are increasingly struggling to manage diverse users, applications, and data.

Zero Trust is a security framework that moves away from the traditional model of fundamentally trusting users or devices within a network. Instead, it continuously verifies access subjects and permissions, allowing access only within a strictly necessary scope. As cloud and distributed work environments grow, Zero Trust has become a critical component of corporate security strategies.

Zscaler's 'Zero Trust Exchange' is a cloud-based platform that enables the application of security policies during the connection process between users and applications, while managing access to data. It is designed for use across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments.

Etiverse intends to scale its Zero Trust business in Korea by combining Zscaler's technology with its own extensive expertise in domestic IT distribution and partner management.

Beyond mere product supply, Etiverse will establish a comprehensive partner support system featuring partner cultivation, sales and technical training, customer seminars, joint marketing, and technical support. The company plans to broaden its reach by engaging not only existing security partners but also those in the cloud, network, and IT infrastructure sectors to uncover opportunities across various industries.

The two companies plan to host Zero Trust-related seminars, technical training, Hands-on programs, and joint marketing initiatives for domestic partners and customers to drive new business opportunities across multiple industrial sectors.
