On KBS's Fun-Staurant, a married couple in their seventh year shares how their opposing personalities and eating habits clash during cooking.
A married couple in their seventh year of marriage revealed their differing personalities and eating habits during a recent cooking session. In a video from the KBS show 'Fun-Staurant' aired on October 4, 2024, the couple's contrasting sides emerged while they carefully prepared a dish.

"Every bite must have the same consistency"... Contrasting eating habits
During the video, cast member Soyeon described her specific eating habits, stating, "Everything must have the same consistency," explaining that she requires every part of her meal to be uniform. This stood in stark contrast to her partner, who eats without even mixing a single grain of rice. Soyeon remarked that their personalities seem to be complete opposites, noting her tendency to focus intensely on achieving the perfect consistency. She even recalled being "smacked on the back" by her father while eating fried rice in the past, adding that by focusing too intensely on minor details, one can sometimes miss the bigger picture.

30 minutes of cooking and the transformation of the pear
The cooking process required significant time. The cast mentioned that it took approximately 30 minutes to cook the ingredients with pear. The process involved straining out the pear and then adding butter to reduce the mixture again. The cast members were surprised by the transformation, noting that the cooked pear "became like a chestnut" and expressing amazement at the depth of flavor: "Why does it have so much flavor?"
A heartfelt recipe and mutual harmony
The cooking session also sparked a conversation about the importance of following a recipe. One cast member emphasized the necessity of cooking with care, noting, "There is a reason for the recipe." Her partner responded to this dedicated approach, saying, "What you did was truly heartfelt." The video captured a touching moment between the two individuals of different temperaments, with one remarking, "By being together and harmonizing like this, we develop better sides of ourselves." The conversation continued with a playful comment about the other's personality, noting, "You talk a lot and are also great at acting quite a bit.""
