Actor Choi Daniel's "Sleeping Daniel" Talk Show: A 95,000-Won... Mic, Arm Sleeves for Gaming and a Fig Cake Called "Mujjimo"
Actor Choi Daniel hosted a relaxed, podcast-style talk on his YouTube channel with Kim Min-sik and Kim Gi-nam. They chatted about gaming, a pricey microphone, a fig cheese mochi cake and Paul Kim's music.

A fig cheese mochi cake that the group nicknamed "Mujjimo" on the spot, and a microphone costing 950,000 won, were among the talking points as actor Choi Daniel sat down with Kim Min-sik and Kim Gi-nam for a loosely structured talk on his YouTube channel "Choi Daniel."
Gaming talk and a surprising habit
The conversation drifted to gaming when Kim Gi-nam eyed the high-end microphone in the studio. "When I play PUBG, we talk over Discord, and this mic would be great," he said. The group was startled by the 950,000-won price, and went on to discuss headset prices and computer specs.
As the topic deepened, some surprising sides emerged. Choi Daniel, who enjoys games, said he had long wanted to do game streaming and recalled watching such videos since the AfreecaTV days. Another acquaintance, Gyu-pil, turned out to be such a gaming "pro" that he wears arm sleeves to move the mouse smoothly, which drew laughter. They spoke frankly about their skills and favorite genres.
A dessert break and a made-up name
Midway through, the group tasted the currently trendy fig cheese mochi cake. They shared an unusual way of eating it, cutting the cake and shaking off the powder, and judged the taste. Of the mix of cheesecake and mochi textures, they said it was "a texture I've never had before."
While settling on a name for the cake, they came up with "Mujjimo," short for fig cheese mochi, and kept joking around. Choi Daniel closed the video by reacting to his friends' free-spirited attitude: "You're amazing, doing everything you want."
Late-night radio mood, with Paul Kim's songs
Choi Daniel set the concept as a "podcast to listen to at night," taking on the air of a radio DJ and mentioning Paul Kim's "Every Day, Every Moment." Known to be friendly with Paul Kim, he tried to build the radio atmosphere by singing the song. The cast traded views on singing Paul Kim's songs, how to use the microphone and the need to lower the tone of the video, keeping the mood light.
He also kept the conversation going by mentioning artists he is close to, including Paul Kim and Jiyoung of BOL4. He shared his experience filming a Reels video with Jiyoung, lifting the mood further, and said Paul Kim had visited for a shoot the day before.
Release details
The video was released on the 15th. Set up to resemble a radio booth, it showed Choi Daniel having an informal chat with Kim Min-sik and Kim Gi-nam, in the style of a relaxed podcast with close acquaintances.
