Kany Asks SHINee’s MINHO for Chanel Bag in Running Challenge

Kany secured a promise of a Chanel bag from SHINee’s MINHO during running practice ahead of her SMRUN 26 10-kilometer marathon challenge. Her request to buy her the bag if she won came with a specific deal during practice: she asked for it if she completed the run without running away, and MINHO promised to buy it if she did not quit.

A video released on Kany’s YouTube channel, I'm Kany, followed her preparations, from searching for running gear to competing with MINHO in a baseball batting game and a short sprint.

“I don’t have the gear”: Shopping with Google search

As she began preparing for the marathon, Kany said she lacked running shoes, running clothes and other necessary equipment. She used Google search to find running items she liked, checking product information for her preferred styles with Circle to Search.

She also used a “try on” feature to see virtually whether the clothes suited her as she continued shopping.

A Chanel bag promise before the competition

Kany and MINHO met for running practice and agreed on the Chanel bag deal before their competition began. In the baseball batting game, Kany showed her competitive spirit, shouting, “I won!” MINHO said he had been enjoying running for two years.

A 1.75-second contest

The pair then timed themselves over a short distance in a speed race. Kany had a false start but refocused and checked her time.

With the Chanel bag in mind, she shouted, “Chanel bag, visualize,” and remained intent on the race through the finish. The video continued with Kany and MINHO checking their times to determine the winner.
