Entertainer Cha Tae-hyun showed his warm side by thinking of those around him when faced with delicious food.

In a recently released video from the TVING variety program 'Handsome Guys,' the cast members visited a famous restaurant in Buam-dong to enjoy a meal. The cast spent the outing tasting various dishes in sequence, starting with shabu-shabu before moving on to chicken and whelk noodles.

Cha mentioned that the batter is extremely thin yet crispy, noting that unlike the thick flour batter he used to encounter when eating squid at traditional markets, this thin coating enhances the flavor. The cast described the texture, saying, “There is no batter, it's just meat.”

The cast members also expressed satisfaction with the accompanying potato dish, calling it “the pinnacle of fluffiness.” Additionally, they enjoyed the whelk noodles served with the chicken, noting that the inclusion of fruit prevented the flavor from becoming cloying. The cast remarked that the combination of sesame oil, seasoning, and fruit created a harmonious flavor.

Immersed in the meal, Cha showed his tendency to think of others when eating something delicious. After tasting the chicken and noodles, he said, “It's a shame to eat this alone. Someone from my family absolutely must eat this with me.”

He continued sincerely, saying, “I guess it's natural that when you eat something truly delicious, you think of your loved ones or the people around you, like my older brother or my beloved family.”

In particular, Cha specifically mentioned his manager, stating, “If my manager hasn't tried this, he absolutely must.”

During the meal, a quiz session was held featuring a famous quote by Francis Bacon. The cast members pondered the answer to the riddle: “This is the best servant and the worst master.” The cast correctly identified “money” as the answer, after which they continued their meal while savoring the food once again.
