Gymnast Yeo Seo-jeong candidly opened up about the psychological pressure she had to endure since her childhood. Yeo Seo-jeong said that during her upper elementary school years, even when her skills were not exceptionally outstanding, she often heard from those around her that she was "doing well thanks to her father." It was the stress she had to endure because both of her parents were involved in gymnastics. Yeo Seo-jeong recalled, "I thought most often during my upper elementary school years that I wished my parents didn't do gymnastics," noting how it was distressing that her efforts were dismissed as being due to her parents' influence despite how hard she truly worked at the time. In particular, she shared her feelings when she heard that winning a gold medal in her discipline was something to be taken for granted.

She also mentioned her daily routine of having to head straight to the gymnastics hall as soon as school classes ended. Yeo Seo-jeong revealed there were times she wanted to quit gymnastics because she was envious of seeing her friends going out to play. However, she mentioned a moment when she rediscovered her determination toward gymnastics after late finding a resolution she had written while stuck at her desk during elementary school, suggesting that her family's support and her own will have continued. Yeo Seo-jeong explained that she naturally came into contact with gymnastics by following her parents to the gym since she was seven years old.

The national archery team shared urgent and human episodes they experienced at their accommodation during the Olympics. Kim Je-deok revealed his experience of losing sleep due to the snoring of his roommate Oh Jin-hyek during the Tokyo Olympics. Kim Je-deok explained, "I woke up briefly in the early morning, and the snoring sounded so loud," describing how the situation eventually led to him having to stay awake all night sitting in a chair in the living room due to the temperature issues in the room. In this process, Kim Woo-jin and Kim Je-deok showed consideration by moving the accommodation location for Oh Jin-hyek, for whom condition management is important.

The conversation continued regarding the 'fighting' shouts they used to relieve tension during matches. Oh Jin-hyek revealed that because he has a personality that gets very nervous when competing for the first time, he asked the coach if it would be okay to shout loudly, but received the answer, "It is not polite to the opposing athlete, but it is good for the purpose of instilling spirit in our team." Oh Jin-hyek added that such fighting also played a strategic role in lowering the team's tension and increasing the burden on the opponent. In particular, during the Korea-Japan match, at a moment when the pressure to shoot a 10 was great, he stated that shouting "End" while shooting the last arrow meant both the end of the match and an intention to relieve the tension of his younger teammates and teachers.

The weight of the name national athlete, "Things that had to be given up"

Behind the glory enjoyed as a national athlete, there were inevitably things that had to be given up. Kim Je-deok said that having started archery in the second grade of elementary school, he had to give up memories of school days spent playing with friends. Kim Woo-jin mentioned the difficulty of balancing sports and academics, citing the abandonment of his studies. Oh Jin-hyek expressed his longing for freedom felt within the strict training environment.

Yeo Seo-jeong finally expressed her feelings toward her family. Unlike her past self who longed for freedom and said, "I envy the birds that fly," she expressed gratitude toward her family, saying that because she has them now, "I don't need something like freedom."
