"Am I a beast?" Wife bursts into tears over coercive sexual demands and physical assault resulting in broken ribs

A story has been revealed regarding physical and mental suffering caused by violence and coercive sexual demands between a married couple.

In a recently released pre-release video of 'Oh Eun-young Report: Marriage Hell,' the unilateral victimization of a wife was captured. In the video, the wife conveyed the specific situations she experienced due to her husband's violence and coercive attitude. According to the wife's explanation, while intoxicated, the husband committed violence such as throwing or kicking whatever he could grab in his hands, and in this process, the wife even suffered a situation where her ribs were broken, leading to hospitalization. The wife explained that even though they worked together 24 hours a day, when situations occurred where the husband drank and acted out, she would sometimes leave work early because she did not want to see or hear him.

Coercive demands continued even during recovery after surgery

In addition to physical violence, coerciveness in the marital relationship was also pointed out as a problem. The wife revealed that after undergoing surgery for uterine fibroid degeneration in 2009, the husband coercively demanded sexual relations even though she had only been discharged from the hospital for a week and her body had not fully recovered. Recalling the situation at that time, the wife burst into tears, asking, "Am I some kind of beast or what?" and added that it was literally a situation where she was dying. The wife said that since this incident, they have not had sexual relations.

The wife reported that because there are many things the husband tries to do by force, even when she says she does not want to do them or suggests not doing them, the husband has insisted that he must do them. The wife mentioned that if she were to write a journal about these coercive situations, half of the content would be about these parts.

Husband's admission and recurring conflicts

The video also captured the husband directly responding to the wife's statements. Regarding the part of the coercive relationship mentioned by the wife, the husband admitted the fact, replying, "I admit it. I admit it." While admitting to the part where he had coercive relations, the husband showed a reaction to the effect that it could not continue indefinitely.

As the wife's statements regarding the victimisation of assault and coercive relations continued, the deep conflict and humiliation between the couple were revealed.
