Drag artist Nana revealed the realistic concerns and the process of her resurgence experienced while continuing her activities for a long period of 15 years.

In the Mnet 'Twin Mirror Show' broadcast on October 1, 2026, Nana appeared and spoke about her background and life as a drag queen. In the video, Nana recalled the difficulties of her early career, mentioning that she had walked the path of the drag culture, which was unfamiliar in Korea, alone for 15 years.

Nana shared that during her 20s, the early stages of her career, there were few opportunities to encounter drag queen culture, so she stood on stage only once or twice a month. While she immersed herself in drag culture as she continued her activities, she confessed to facing realistic problems upon reaching her early 30s. According to her remarks in the video, there was a period when, in a situation where economic activity had to be prioritized, she questioned, "Is it right for me to keep holding onto this?" She added that there were moments of deep contemplation regarding continuing activities such as buying heels to perform drag while struggling just to make a living.

Accordingly, Nana temporarily suspended her drag activities for about 2 to 3 years and spent time working other jobs simultaneously. However, while resting from her activities, she felt a thirst for the days when she would transform glamorously on stage and dance with people, and after establishing a certain foundation, she decided to start drag activities again. Immediately after the decision to return, the video captured the process of her refocusing on drag queen activities as she stood on stages in clubs and other venues upon her comeback.
