Kim Bum makes pottery ahead of 20th anniversary fan meeting... gifting works containing 'imperfection'

Actor Kim Bum has prepared a special gift containing his feelings for his fans ahead of his 20th debut anniversary fan meeting tour.

In a video released by the KINGKONG by STARSHIP channel, Kim Bum visited a workshop under the name 'Morning Pottery Club' to participate in making pottery using a potter's wheel. Sitting at a potter's wheel for the first time in over a decade, Kim Bum immersed himself in the work, recalling memories of using a kick wheel during past filming. Mentioning how difficult the experience of using a kick wheel was, he proceeded step-by-step this time, starting from the process of centering the wheel.

"The Value of Imperfection" Hand-molded Pottery and Coloring Work

Starting from the process of centering the wheel, Kim Bum poked a hole in the center with his thumb and began shaping the form. During the process, he mentioned memories from when he was a young child and spoke about the value of imperfection—the irregularity and natural feeling that does not come out exactly as calculated. Kim Bum named his creation 'Imperfection,' and during the coloring process, he worked to capture a feeling as if the colors were flowing down. He approached the coloring with confidence, expressing a flowing sensation.

During the work, Kim Bum showed that he enjoys being praised and shared emotions he felt while looking back at scenes from the past. He expressed the feeling of the work he made himself and showed confidence in the coloring process.

Anticipation for the 20th Anniversary Fan Meeting Tour 'PAGE∞'

He continued, "I hope those who receive them will like them a lot, as they contain my heart," and "I am looking forward so much to the time I meet you all, including the pottery." Kim Bum concluded with greetings, promising to meet fans directly through the upcoming fan meeting tour.
