DS 'Hey Enjoy', two songs capturing momentary freedom instead of complex thoughts

Artist KIK has showcased a free energy that focuses on momentary emotions through the new album DS 「Hey Enjoy」.

Momentary joy and free energy

KIK's new album DS 「Hey Enjoy」 is themed around the free energy of temporarily escaping complex thoughts to enjoy this very moment. The released songs capture lighthearted enjoyment and fast-paced movements, and through two different tracks, they project KIK's image of diving honestly into momentary emotions and moving forward without hesitation. This new album, which can currently be heard through all music streaming sites, shows the dynamic attitude that KIK pursues.

A message to focus on the present

Looking at the lyrics in the released video, it encourages focusing on the present by talking about moments that will not be remembered once today passes. Along with the phrase "You won't remember me once today passes," the message to get complex thoughts out of your head appears repeatedly. Additionally, the lyrics contain momentary sensations and visual images, such as suggesting someone with stars in their eyes to come closer, or mentioning the view when opening one's eyes in the morning. This aligns with the 'energy of enjoying this moment' that this new album aims for, delivering a message to enjoy the current pleasure without hesitation.

Lyric development capturing momentary sensations

The flow of the lyrics in the first half of the video emphasizes intense current impressions and momentary instances. Starting with "Look at me," it shows a flow of demanding focus on the subject by saying, "No need to search. I'm right in front of you." In the following lyrics, it appears to suggest the other person come closer, saying, "There are stars in your eyes, come closer." Also, the expression "You won't remember me once today passes" appears repeatedly, and the sensations of passing moments are unfolded in the lyrics by mentioning the view or the situation when opening one's eyes in the morning. This development concretizes the theme of the new album—to escape complex thoughts and immerse oneself in this moment—throughout the lyrics.
