KiiiKiii visits abandoned dog shelter, providing special meals and water play volunteer work for rescued dogs including Lucky and Vicky

Members of the artist group KiiiKiii visited an abandoned dog shelter to carry out volunteer activities for the rescued puppies.

Visiting the large-breed and senior dog shelter 'Victo Forest' and introducing the children

According to the released video, the members of KiiiKiii visited 'Victo Forest', an abandoned dog shelter where large-breed and senior dogs are waiting for families. In the video, shelter official Jang In-suk explained the role of the shelter, stating that its role is to train the children, most of whom have many emotional wounds and are afraid of people, so they can meet families.

There were puppies with various stories at the shelter. They introduced 'Lara', who gave birth to puppies but stays motionless in a corner because she is afraid of people; 'Bong-sik', who was rescued after wandering in the mountains near a golf course in Paju and loves people, appearing on an adoption profile; and 'Lucky' and 'Vicky', who were rescued just yesterday and love people despite one eye not being able to see well. Additionally, the members met 'Gureum', a 15-year-old dog who is not easily adopted due to old age at the shelter and receives care there until she becomes a star in the sky.

Volunteer activities ranging from kennel cleaning to water play and bathing

The members divided roles and began full-scale cleaning work. They split into teams to clean the interior and the exterior, and they organized the environment by cleaning the excrement and washing the floors of 'Mint Building', where the senior dogs stay. During the cleaning process, the members mentioned the importance of the environment the children live in and expressed their desire to clean it thoroughly.

After cleaning, activities to help the children adapt continued. The members conducted water play so that the puppies could become familiar with water. In particular, they were captured interacting with a dog named Chanel by using snacks to induce individual tricks such as sitting, lying down, and "pang" (making a bread shape). Furthermore, bathing volunteer work was conducted for dogs including Mickey and those rescued yesterday, Lucky and Vicky. To ensure the puppies felt stable, the members meticulously washed them by supporting their hind legs and hips and used a drying room to dry them.

Cooking handmade special meals using chicken breast and mushrooms

For the puppies whose appetites had decreased due to the hot weather, the members participated in cooking special meals themselves. The members divided roles and used ingredients such as chicken breast, mushrooms, and broccoli. In the video, the members completed the special meals through a process of finely chopping and stir-frying the ingredients.

The cooked special meals were provided after being cooled so that the puppies would not eat something hot. The video shows the puppies eating the prepared food, and the members concluded their volunteer work by checking the quality of the food they made themselves and the reactions of the puppies.
