HUI prepares for first solo concert 'HUI : A Boy's Confession'... "I want to show my musical influence"

Singer HUI will meet fans through his first solo concert for the first time in 10 years since his debut. This performance will be held under the title 'HUI : A Boy's Confession', which contains the story of a boy who has become an adult but still keeps pure dreams in his heart.

HUI announced that he is in the midst of preparing for the performance, having recently conducted concert poster, MD (goods), and VCR filming. In accordance with the theme of 'A Boy's Confession', he worked to melt the innocence and dreams of his childhood, which he still holds in his heart even as an adult, into his poses and atmosphere.

At the poster filming site, HUI showed various moods. He demonstrated a wide spectrum, from outfits capturing a drowsy morning atmosphere to pure white clothing that emphasized refreshing boyishness. In particular, he visualized the message of the performance through direction such as flying paper airplanes, as if letting go of wishes, dreams, or burdens of the heart.

HUI explained the direction of this concert while reminiscing about his childhood. He cited his 5th and 6th grade years in elementary school as the golden age of his life. He expressed his desire to return to those days when he was an extroverted child who loved to step forward in everything, being happy and full of confidence without worries. This is read as his determination to capture the energy of his boyish days in this performance, in contrast to his changed appearance where time alone has recently become important.

The emotions he feels while preparing for the solo concert are special. For him, who has always been active together with the members, this solo performance was an unfamiliar experience. HUI said, "Since it is my first solo concert, I suddenly felt lonely at times," and also expressed longing for his colleagues as he recalled the times spent running toward goals together with the members for their 10th anniversary.

With about two months left until the performance, HUI enters full-scale music work. He has already finished organizing the cue sheet and is discussing the storyline and musical dynamic composition with the directing director. The plan is to focus on arrangement for the next month, and then continue practicing for another month after that. He intends to devote himself to increasing the perfection of the stage, such as playing the piano and matching with the band session.

HUI revealed specific goals for what he wants to show fans through this performance. He said, "One of the dreams I wanted to achieve at least once in my life is to show my musical influence in the name of a concert," and added, "I want to create a stage where fans say 'it was crazy' when the performance ends." He finally added his sincerity that he will continue to live as a person who sings and makes music.

HUI and Lee Hoe-taek, a 'sincere confession' between artist and human

The VCR filming, which will continue the flow of the concert, is being prepared in a way that highlights not only his image as an artist but also his human side. This VCR is planned with a structure that, using an interview format, shares the story of the artist 'HUI' and the story of an individual named 'Lee Hoe-taek'.

Through a sincere conversation process conducted without a script, HUI is expected to bring out stories about himself that fans did not know. The clumsy confessions and fragments of life of Lee Hoe-taek, hidden behind the glamorous appearance on stage, are expected to become the core narrative of this 'A Boy's Confession'.
