AMP performs for one hour at SOUND PLANET FESTIVAL 2026… “Dreaming of being headliners”

The band AMP has completed their performance at the SOUND PLANET FESTIVAL 2026, interacting with the audience for a long duration. A video released on the AxMxP channel captures the process from the festival rehearsal to the main performance and their reflections after finishing the stage.

“First one-hour performance” Tension and preparation continuing from rehearsal

At the rehearsal held two days before the performance, AMP performed a setlist lasting approximately one hour. The members noted that this performance was a long stage lasting more than an hour. The members expressed their excitement for the opportunity to show various songs, stating that it was their first time performing for such a long time at a festival.

Detailed preparation processes to increase the quality of the stage were also observed. One of the members shared that they attempted tone making for fun and received praise from a band member that the tone was good. Additionally, instrument setting and equipment checks continued just before the performance. The bass player also shared a behind-the-scenes story that because the blue bass they previously used was "sick" (not in good condition), they took a white Fender bass onto the stage today.

Tension regarding the preparation of cover songs was also evident during this stage. Regarding 'Networking's Music', one of the songs they would cover, the members revealed they prepared nervously for perfect execution, saying, "It is a difficult song where if you miss one part, you feel uncomfortable for two or three bars."

A stage united with the audience, "A performance where we jump and shout together"

During the main performance, AMP presented a stage where the audience could enjoy jumping, shouting, and clapping together. The members emphasized their intuitive and energetic performance style, saying, "Our songs are about jumping together, shouting together, and clapping together, and that's it."

On stage, they led the atmosphere of the venue by presenting the prepared songs in order. After finishing the performance, the members expressed their gratitude to the audience, saying, "Thank you to those who watched the performance." In particular, this performance left a meaning beyond just a stage for the members. The members expressed their ambition, stating, "It was a great honor to be on stage for a whole hour, and we will keep working hard until the day we become headliners."

The heat of the festival site and the members' reflections

After the performance ended, AMP looked back on the heat of the festival. The members reacted that they enjoyed being able to exchange energy with the audience for a long time after a long hiatus. As it was their first festival stage, they expressed satisfaction at being able to have a joyful time with the audience.
