"Acting in Korean is difficult, but we are doing our best"... AtHeart members reveal character behind-the-scenes for '3+4!'

The members of the group AtHeart are transforming into actors. According to the released video, the AtHeart members shared their respective characters and their mindset toward acting through the script reading session for the work '3+4!'.

Characters resembling their real selves, "Both name and role are Nayeon"

In the video, the members mentioned the similarities and differences between their characters in the work and their actual personalities. Nayeon, who plays the role of Nayeon, said, "Nayeon plays the role of connecting Samsuns and Etateu," adding, "The bright image and the way she always tries not to give up seem similar to (my actual self)." She continued, "Since the name is Nayeon and the character is Nayeon, I felt like I wanted to do it just as I am."

Bom took on the role of 'Bom of Samsuns' and explained the character's characteristics. Bom stated, "Bom is a worry doll who worries a lot and is very fearful," and revealed, "Since she is a member who uses a dialect, I am making an effort to call my mother frequently to use the dialect again this time." She mentioned that unlike her usual easygoing personality, the character has cute and lively aspects, so she believes she can show a new side of herself.

Aurora also introduced herself as taking the role of 'Aurora of Samsuns,' saying, "I took on the role of the leader of Samsuns." Aurora said, "Since everyone in the actual Etateu except Nayeon are younger siblings, it was difficult to play the leader role, but I did my best." In particular, as a foreign member, she mentioned the practice process, saying, "Acting in Korean, which is not my mother tongue, is harder than I thought."

"A serious acting challenge"... Acting points chosen by the members

The members also revealed their efforts to bring out the multi-dimensional aspects of their characters. SEOHYUN explained the character, saying, "Seohyun is a friend who seems to be eating all the time, is quirky and lively, and has good reactions, but she is a member who says everything she needs to say when Nayeon is angry."

Caitlin said, "I usually joke around a lot with Nayeon, but since I play the role of staying by Nayeon's side when she is serious, I was able to act naturally." Michi said, "It is my first time doing it in Korean, and it is also my first time doing slightly serious acting," adding, "Thanks to the experience of doing many fun acting sessions with the members, I think I can do well."

Arin took on the role of 'Arin, the leader in 2026.' Arin introduced it as "a leader role that shows moments colder, more decisive, and chic than reality," and revealed specific acting points, saying, "I was most concerned about the scene where I have a one-on-one conversation with Nayeon. We are usually in a relationship where we bicker funnily, but in that scene, it was difficult because we had to be serious and moody."

Expectations for '3+4!' shared by AtHeart

As it is their first acting challenge, the members expressed both nervousness and excitement. The AtHeart members shared their thoughts, saying, "Since it is our first acting, we were happy to be the protagonists, and because we wanted to do well, we prepared hard by practicing with words and imagining scenes." They also said, "We tried to show good teamwork with the members," and "Acting is difficult, but it was enjoyable because we felt we could show a new side of ourselves."

Finally, the members expressed their expectations for the work, saying, "'3+4!' is so funny and entertaining, so please give us a lot of interest and love."
