Netflix Korea has revealed the new lineup of works that will visit viewers in the first week of October. From a suspense thriller starring Shin Min-a to a documentary capturing the records of a legendary racer, works of various genres have been announced.

The struggle of a photographer losing her sight, 《Eye》

One of the works to watch this week is the suspense thriller 《Eye》, in which Shin Min-a plays dual roles. According to the released video description, the protagonist Seo-jin is a photographer who is losing her sight due to a genetic disease. She witnesses the death of her younger sibling Seo-in, who suffers from the same disease, and the video depicts Seo-jin's situation as she claims that Seo-in's death was murder rather than suicide. Seo-jin is placed in an urgent situation where she must find the true culprit who killed her sibling before she loses her sight completely, while also facing the threat of a stalker. The work is scheduled to be released on October 7.

The beginning of a legend and urban order, Thrillers and Documentaries

The documentary 《Schumacher '94: Birth of a Legend》, which captures the footsteps of racing legend Michael Schumacher, is also included in the lineup. It highlights the glorious moments of Schumacher, who dominated the 1994 F1 season to win his first World Championship, and the process by which he began to rewrite the history of the racing world.

In the crime thriller genre, 《Mayor of Kingstown》 will be released. Set in Kingstown, Michigan, it depicts the story of the McCluskey family, who have maintained order by acting as unofficial market makers between prisons, police, and gangs. After the eldest, Mitch, is murdered, the second son, Mike, takes over the role, capturing the conflicts and anguish that arise as he becomes entangled with gang bosses and the FBI. This work can be met through Netflix on October 5.

Weekly trending works where psychological warfare and action comedy intersect

The psychological espionage thriller 《Black Bag》 deals with the dilemma of agent George, who is chasing an internal traitor. The core of the story is the nerve-wracking psychological warfare George engages in to save his wife and fellow agent, Kathryn, after she is included on the list of suspects who leaked the secrets of the agent organization.

On the other hand, the action comedy 《OK! Madam》 lightheartedly tells the story of a former agent couple hiding their identities. When Mi-yeong and Seok-hwan, a couple on a trip to Hawaii, have their plane hijacked by terrorists, the story depicts the process of them revealing their hidden skills as agents and fighting to protect their family.
