The “Overtime” episode presents a realistic portrayal of working life. It follows an overtime situation in the workplace and captures the conversations that unfold as the characters deal with additional work after regular hours.

In the video, a character named Jin-se is finishing up his work when a department head asks him to take on an additional assignment involving a proposal for a new product launch. The department head recommends using Adobe Firefly to create draft images quickly and improve work efficiency. Their conversation also includes a reference to resting over the weekend.

Giving Jin-se a deadline of the following morning, the department head says, “Do not put too much effort into it. You should be able to make the draft images quickly with Adobe Firefly.” The request leaves Jin-se with more work to complete before the materials are due.

Jin-se later remains alone in the office, orders food for delivery and uses an AI image-generation tool to handle the assignment. As he works with the AI model, he generates images by giving it directions such as creating a warmer atmosphere, removing a campfire and presenting an elaborate house. The sequence shows him refining the images while continuing his work in the otherwise empty office.

The video also depicts an assistant manager, whom Jin-se had believed had already left for the day, returning to the office. Offering advice as a more experienced coworker, the assistant manager tells him, “Working overtime is not something to brag about. If it comes down to work ability, it means you are not capable.”

Another scene shows Jin-se speaking with his family on the phone and explaining that he is still working. During the call, he says, “The assistant manager bought me sushi earlier, so we ate together,” before continuing the conversation with his family. Through the overtime assignment, the exchanges between coworkers and the family phone call, the episode portrays moments from the everyday life of an office worker.

The success of “Overtime” once again demonstrates the continuing reach of Shortbox's content. The channel has recently maintained high view counts across multiple releases. Its videos “Karaoke Troublemaker Alert” and “It Is Zero Minutes, So Why Aren't You Leaving?” have each surpassed 5 million views.

The video uses O.WHEN's song “Because It Is the First Time.” A message posted in the video's description expresses gratitude to O.WHEN and the people involved for allowing the song to be used.
