Music that reinterprets the ordinary moments of daily life through the grammar of jazz has been released. The video uploaded through the KBS Space Gonggam channel contains seven live performances presented by Yong-ri and DOLTANG.

Melodies Capturing Changing Beats and Slices of Daily Life

In this performance, Yong-ri and DOLTANG unraveled familiar scenes around us through music, ranging from changes in rhythm to scrolling, payday, stock charts, plastic bags, and nights under fluorescent lights. According to the description of the released video, the included songs each capture different moments of daily life.

The unreleased song 'Six Seven' features a characteristic where the beat is never maintained identically until the song ends. It takes a structure that begins with solemn and passionate harmonies and leads into a faint atmosphere. 'Dopamine Rush', included in the first full-length album [Invisible Worker], captures the image of modern people repeatedly swiping to find the next stimulus, while 'Pay Day' expresses the excitement and anxiety of payday through rhythm, serving as a cheer song for musical workers.

Projections of Reality and the Impulse Toward Freedom

Songs dealing with specific objects and phenomena of daily life followed. 'Shell' metaphors the environment surrounding oneself as a hard shell, capturing the impulse toward freedom. 'Drops' depicts the process of discovering the complex image of modern people in the lines of rising and falling stock charts.

Songs that contemplate life through objects also stand out. 'Do Plastic Bags Dream About Sunset' depicts a romantic moment of flying toward the sunset through an empty plastic bag fluttering in the wind. Finally, 'Fluorescent Light', written and composed by Yong-ri and arranged by DOLTANG, captures the moment where lethargy and tenacity collide in the image of an insect throwing itself toward the light of a fluorescent lamp on a night crushed by deadlines.
