Son Ja-yeon, a member of the group VAYONN, revealed the process of transforming from a bare face to a glamorous appearance without reservation. In this video released to celebrate the release of VAYONN's first EP 'Youth Today', Son Ja-yeon communicated with fans by personally demonstrating a makeup process that she usually finds difficult to show.

Son Ja-yeon appeared at the beginning of the video with a bare face and began her makeup. She expressed her honest feelings, saying, "I really didn't want to show this, but I really prepared it. Thanks to you all, I am so, so happy to have made this opportunity." The makeup began with skincare. Son Ja-yeon focused on creating the skin base, starting from the basic step of applying hand cream to her skin and using purple sunscreen. In particular, she showed the process of precisely correcting her skin tone using foundation and concealer, stating, "The base is the most important part."

The makeup process continued longer than expected. About 20 minutes after the start of the video, Son Ja-yeon moved on to the stage of emphasizing her facial features, such as drawing eyebrows and applying mascara. Having mentioned that she does not usually draw her eyebrows, Son Ja-yeon used a brown color to draw them, and then used shading and eyeliner to correct her eye shape and add glamour by emphasizing her aegyo-sal (under-eye fat). Son Ja-yeon demonstrated a technique to make her eyes look larger through light and dark contrast, saying, "Since the dark parts and light parts are clearly different, if you do it like this, the eyes look so big."

The climax of the makeup was the lip and highlight stages. Son Ja-yeon selected a lip product with a mix of coral, orange, and pink tones, saying, "The main point of today's makeup, the lead makeup, is the lips." She added detailed touches, such as drawing the lip line as an over-lip. Finally, she finished the makeup by applying a sparkling highlight to her face to add dimension. During the highlight stage, she showed a cautious side, saying, "If you do too much, it might look a bit strange, so please do just a little, a little."

The total time taken for the entire makeup was 51 minutes. During the video, mentions such as "47 minutes have passed now" and "Already 50 minutes" followed, indicating the long working time. Unlike the mention from another member that she usually finishes makeup in about 20 minutes, Son Ja-yeon completed the transformation by spending nearly an hour through detailed steps.
