tripleS NAKYOUNG's 'Gub-kku' Blush Co-developed with NAMING... Revealing the Behind-the-Scenes Development Story

NAKYOUNG, a member of the group tripleS, showcased a new product co-developed with the cosmetic brand NAMING., conveying her sincerity embedded in the product development.

Recently, NAKYOUNG introduced the renewed 'Archive Fluffy Powder Blush' through her channel, which was collaborated on with NAMING. Known for being sincere about 'Gub-geun (decorated but natural-looking) makeup,' NAKYOUNG revealed the behind-the-scenes details of her direct participation by providing opinions during the product development process.

NAKYOUNG explained that this product has a different direction from existing 'Gub-geun makeup.' In particular, she emphasized that the blush was designed to go beyond simply providing a healthy complexion and to perform the role of 'shading' that defines the facial contours.

NAKYOUNG stated, "The color is a bit muted, but that muteness provides a pressing feeling that acts as shading," adding, "I believe blush can also serve as shading." Produced with this intention, the product aimed for colors that anyone can use without burden, regardless of the user's skin tone.

Communication during the product development process was also specifically mentioned. NAKYOUNG shared, "The officials listened to my opinions very well during the sampling process," and "There was a process of making the product by reflecting my opinions." NAKYOUNG also participated in selecting the product name. Instead of the name suggested by NAMING., the name 'Yang-jelly' directly suggested by NAKYOUNG was reflected.

From base 'Toasted' to point 'Baked'... A 3-step layered demonstration

NAKYOUNG demonstrated how to use the product step-by-step while performing the makeup herself. This new blush consists of the base color 'Toasted' and the point color 'Baked.'

First, she applied the apricot-toned base color 'Toasted' widely across her face to provide a healthy complexion. NAKYOUNG explained, "The characteristic is a mysterious color that looks like sunlight," and "You can adjust the color payoff by controlling the number of layers depending on your mood." She suggested using only the base color when wanting a light 'Kku-an-kku' (natural) style, and applying the point color as well when wanting a glamorous 'Gub-kku' (fully decorated) style.

Next, she used the point color 'Baked.' NAKYOUNG added, "This color is a completely muted shade," and "When applied to the cheeks, it has the effect of making the face look smaller." NAKYOUNG achieved a high-quality makeup look through a 3-step process of applying the base color as the first layer, layering the base color again on top, and finally applying the point color.

Meanwhile, this new product, a collaboration between NAKYOUNG and NAMING., is scheduled to be released through Zigzag on October 12.
