Inside the market, various foods from around the world, such as Thailand, India, South Korea, and Japan, were being sold, and after purchasing drinks like mango peach, lemon tea, and lime juice, solarsido waited for the ordered skewers. Due to the wide and complex structure inside the market, she even got lost, but eventually found the ordered food.

Visiting the Merlion statue to view the symbol of Singapore

After tasting the skewers, solarsido headed to the Merlion statue, an iconic landmark of Singapore, to aid digestion. In front of the Merlion statue, which is about a 15-minute walk from the skewer street, many crowds were captured taking photos. During the movement, solarsido also took in the sight of the Marina Bay Hotel and the boats passing over the river.

solarsido explained the origin of the Merlion statue. According to the subtitles and explanation in the video, the Merlion is a shape that combines a lion's head (derived from 'Singapura', the old name of Singapore) and a fish's body (derived from the fact that ancient Singapore was a seaside village). solarsido shared her impressions of the site, saying that although she has visited Singapore several times, it was her first time visiting right in front of the Merlion statue.
