NMIXX members JIWOO and KYUJIN reveal contrasting personalities on YouTube

NMIXX members JIWOO and KYUJIN shared details about their upcoming sixth mini album, "Change Muse," during an appearance on the YouTube show "Youngest Members Gather at Soh's." The duo, who have known each other for nine years, also teased a new hip-hop unit song scheduled for release on October 19.

The "youngest line" of NMIXX, JIWOO and KYUJIN, showcased a "reversal chemistry," revealing different personalities while boasting perfect harmony on stage.

JIWOO and KYUJIN appeared as guests on the YouTube content "Youngest Members Gather at Soh's" hosted by Ahn So-hee. During the video, the two increased anticipation for their comeback by sharing information regarding their sixth mini album, "Change Muse," scheduled for release on October 19, and the title track "Birthday Wish." The title track "Birthday Wish" is a pop song that harmoniously mixes Moon Baton and "Forward and Draw" with Picture House genres, capturing a romantic image of members sincerely making wishes for one another. This album serves as the conclusion to a series connected to "Blue Valentine" and "Heavy Serenade," carrying meanings of celebration and new beginnings.

"Different personalities, but perfect on stage"... Chemistry between 99% and 49%

The two revealed opposing views of each other through a "youngest member certificate." While KYUJIN answered that her chemistry point with the members is 99%, JIWOO provided a figure of 49%, stating she still lacks enough knowledge to know all the various charms of the members. This moment clearly revealed the personality differences between the two, who are in their fifth year since debut and have known each other for nine years.

JIWOO introduced herself as a style that speaks her mind accurately when necessary. On the other hand, KYUJIN defined herself as a bright and clear-headed "cutie setty." Regarding their relationship, KYUJIN answered that she feels about 85% chemistry with JIWOO. "Because our personalities are very different, we might not get along if we shared a room, but our chemistry is good when we dance or sing outside," KYUJIN added, noting, "There is a unit song in this album that the two of us are performing together for the first time."

The first unit song features a strong hip-hop beat, and the two participated in writing the lyrics. They displayed a different charm by revealing a portion of the song, which blends KYUJIN's sense of rhythm with JIWOO's husky yet delicate voice.

Interesting answers followed regarding the hierarchy within the team. While JIWOO volunteered for the "middle position" that balances consideration and speaking up, KYUJIN showed a "youngest on top" side, stating her personality could make her the youngest or the number one in rank depending on the situation.

In particular, KYUJIN revealed that she is in charge of "nagging of love" for the members. Seeing HAEWON drink a lot of coffee on an empty stomach, KYUJIN reported that she nags her to take care of her health, saying, "A hole will be poked in your stomach, you should drink water from the morning." She added that she also plays a role in increasing the team's perfection by checking detailed parts during choreography practice.

In contrast, JIWOO is known to have a style of aegyo (cuteness) that naturally leans on others through actions rather than words. KYUJIN explained that while JIWOO was an "aegyo expert" with a lot of daily cuteness in the past, her aegyo seems to have decreased somewhat due to her recent desire to become an "adult woman." Meanwhile, HAEWON was mentioned as an older sister who is somewhat vulnerable to aegyo.

From toe socks to artificial tears... Survival items of the youngest members

The two also revealed "survival items" reflecting their respective lifestyle habits. KYUJIN stated that for her health, she consistently wears toe socks, which are known to be favored by J. Y. Park. JIWOO cited strong artificial tears that resolve dryness caused by wearing contact lenses as an essential item.

Finally, when asked who they would want to live as if they could swap souls, KYUJIN chose JIWOO. KYUJIN expressed curiosity about her older sister, saying, "I am curious about JIWOO unnie's lifestyle, values, and way of thinking." On the other hand, JIWOO drew laughter by showing an attitude of self-love, stating, "I like myself."
