Creator Jeon Woong transformed into a clown (clown man) to film a sponsored Reels video for the cosmetics brand V T. Through his YouTube channel "It's Jeon Woong?", he documented the makeup process and showcased a performance in his completed look.
"Different from the Fu Bao look"... 'Clown man' makeup chosen for Reels shoot
Jeon Woong revealed that the purpose of this makeup was for filming Reels. Mentioning that the public reaction to his past "Fu Bao" makeup was not very good, he planned to transform into something cuter this time rather than imitating Fu Bao. To prepare, he stated he had been searching for makeup references via Beam for several days.
The makeup began with white face painting. After coating his entire face in white, Jeon Woong added sky blue accents around his eyes. He added cuteness by drawing yellow circles on his cheeks and created a signature clown image by drawing his lip line crookedly. Finally, he added black nasolabial folds and a beauty mark to complete the look. During the process, Jeon Woong expressed satisfaction with the result, noting, "I definitely have makeup experience."
He also put effort into hair styling, using mousse and wax to create a "spiky hair" look to complete the clown appearance. Regarding the color payoff of the makeup tools, Jeon Woong noted, "It works so well," while testing the products' performance.
"Have I found my calling?"... Quirky magic performance as a clown
After finishing his makeup, Jeon Woong performed a magic show dressed as a clown. Introducing himself to the audience as "the authentic clown man Jeon Woong," he continued with quirky performances, such as throwing objects and catching them with his head. During the performance, he appeared immersed in the role, asking, "Have I found my calling?"
Jeon Woong lightened the mood during the show by joking, "Eyes, nose, mouth—my father made all of this." He once again emphasized that this makeup was prepared for Reels and asked viewers to look upon him kindly.
"This is why I do this job"... Reflections after the performance
After the show, Jeon Woong shared his thoughts on the atmosphere of the scene. Mentioning a young audience member he met during the performance, he said that such reactions are why he does this work. After finishing, Jeon Woong remarked, "Today's performance was really, really hard," but also showed satisfaction with his completed makeup, saying, "I did so well."
