IAN talks with ChatGPT until 5 AM... Behind the scenes of the TIMA awards ceremony

IAN, a member of the group Hearts2Hearts, shared her feelings for fans by conversing with the artificial intelligence (AI) ChatGPT during the awards ceremony preparation process. According to the released video, IAN visited the venue to attend the 2026 TIMElive International Music Awards (TIMA).

IAN revealed an anecdote where she could not sleep at the accommodation the day before the awards ceremony and had a conversation with ChatGPT. In the video, IAN stated, "I couldn't sleep, so I asked ChatGPT for ways to fall asleep," adding, "I fell asleep after chatting with ChatGPT until 5 AM." In particular, IAN mentioned that she is using the ChatGPT Plus service and used the feature to have voice calls with the AI, which costs approximately 26,000 to 30,000 won. IAN added that ChatGPT calls her by her name, IAN.

Through ChatGPT, IAN also contemplated messages to deliver to the fandom 'Hachu'. IAN requested ChatGPT to "say hello to Hachu," to which ChatGPT responded with the sentiment, "Thanks to your bright energy and music, IAN can also have an energetic day today. We always love you sincerely." ChatGPT then suggested that the number one thing for Hachu is to stay united, and as a way to repay the fans' hearts, suggested things like "saying thank you often or leaving one or two lines of sincere messages after a performance."

Happenings during red carpet preparation and behind-the-scenes stories

Urgent situations on the day of the awards ceremony were also shared. IAN mentioned a moment of panic when she turned around thinking it was a rehearsal while moving along the red carpet, only to find the vehicle had already departed. Additionally, she shared an episode where she had to change her planned hairstyle to a 'bun' because she left the traditional hairpin (binyeo) she had originally prepared at the accommodation. IAN conveyed the situation at the time, saying, "I asked the teachers if they had a hairpin, but of course, they wouldn't have one."

Reflections on the stage performance followed. Hearts2Hearts performed the largest number of songs among their recent stages at this awards ceremony. IAN confessed, "We performed for about 15 minutes, and it was the most physically demanding among our recent stages." Sharing the emotions she felt with the members immediately after the stage, she said she found comfort in seeing Ji-won's expression in the dark, thinking, "I'm not the only one having a hard time." IAN added a determination to work hard on aerobic exercises once she returns to Korea.

After finishing the awards ceremony, the members shared the food they ate on-site and their future plans. IAN mentioned that the room service, which she ordered by translating the menu through ChatGPT the previous day, was very satisfying, stating, "After today's awards ceremony ends, I plan to eat those menus again with the members." The members looked forward to the time after the awards ceremony, mentioning various menus including French toast, tenderloin dishes, seafood marinara, carbonara, and Nigatori noodles.
