A video has been released capturing the comedic rehearsal process of the cast members from the 'Mirror Man and Woman' segment on KBS's 'Gag Concert' as they prepare for a play performance.
Failure in self-management and costume fitting commotion
In the released video, the cast members show tension as they focus on practicing their lines ahead of the performance. During the rehearsal, one cast member, looking like they only tanned around the eyes due to the autumn sunlight, jokes, "I'm a total panda," adding that not just their face, but their body looks like a panda too. The following scene depicts a senior actor emphasizing self-management and a junior actor responding to it. When the senior actor reveals that they usually only eat salad to manage their figure, the junior actor lightens the mood by replying that they will not eat salad.

In particular, the scene where the junior actor apologizes while mentioning physique issues, saying, "I think I just can't wear it because I'm too small," draws laughter. The senior actor tells the junior to warm up quickly, noting that their self-management is lacking. When the junior actor says they will warm up, the senior actor maintains the tension of the rehearsal site by instructing them to practice again.
Demands for method acting and diverging emotional lines
As the rehearsal intensifies, the senior actor shows a strict side, emphasizing the attitude an actor should show to the audience. When the emotions are not properly conveyed during line practice, the senior actor demands immersion, asking, "Do you think the audience paid money to come and see this?" Looking in the mirror, the senior actor reprimands whether an actor's appearance can be like this and orders them to pull themselves together and act for real. The senior actor also suggests a satisfactory acting tone, saying, "It was good just now; if you do exactly like this during the performance, it'll be perfect."

In particular, conflict escalates during the process of matching the ending scene. While continuing the confession lines toward the partner, an unexpected situation occurs where one cast member reacts intensely as if it were a real situation, shouting, "Save me! It's real, it's real!" A situation follows where others are bewildered, asking, "Why are you acting like that when you liked them? What on earth did you do?" The commotion at the rehearsal site concludes as the gap between the senior actor demanding serious method acting and the cast member showing an unexpected reaction is portrayed comically.
