BOYNEXTDOOR proves agility and performance with 'animalistic instincts'
The group BOYNEXTDOOR showcased their comeback expectations through a special concept interview on Mnet's 'M Countdown'. The video features the members undergoing a verification process as detective agents, hinting at their upcoming performance concept.
The group BOYNEXTDOOR expressed anticipation for their comeback stage with their unique energy and movement.
In the 'Comeback Interview' video of Mnet's 'M Countdown' EP.947 broadcast on October 1, 2026, BOYNEXTDOOR is shown undergoing a verification process to join as new detective agents. Through a role-playing situation where the cast searches for special agents with animalistic instincts, the video naturally hinted at the concept of the comeback stage.

Agent verification process passed with agility and quickness
In the video, BOYNEXTDOOR underwent tests to verify their quickness and agility to join as detective agents. In a quickness test where they had to immediately take animal poses presented by the production team, the members showed movements following instructions such as 'hop' and 'squeak'. In the subsequent agility test, they performed movements rushing toward a goal through 'Move like animal' actions that seemed linked to the song's lyrics.
Regarding these movements, the cast explained, "It is a finishing move animal performance that overwhelms everyone the moment they see it," adding that it contains the spirit of BOYNEXTDOOR rushing toward their goal. The members concluded the recruitment process by expressing their ambition to be active in the 'M Countdown unit' if they join as official agents.
Comeback stage lineup promising to hit the mark
The main composition of this comeback stage was also guided through the interview. In the video, the cast began staking out a scene where a 'heart attack warning' was issued, continuing the full-scale stage introduction.
The introduced stages included Niz, who is set to hit the mark with 'Sour Grape', and the stage of Gukmin Jisi, which will steal the spotlight. Additionally, the stage created together by the directors who won in 'Street World Fighter Directors War' along with TAEYONG and Bailey was also teased as a major stage to be checked through this broadcast. The cast added precautions, suggesting that these stages will be fatal.
