Red Velvet VCR Filming Site: Patissiers and Animal Fairs in a Parallel Universe

The group Red Velvet has revealed behind-the-scenes footage of the VCR filming site for their FAN-CON. This video contains the VCR filming process intended to increase the immersion of the FAN-CON, as well as the members directly explaining the core of the concept.

The core theme of this VCR is a 'parallel universe.' The Red Velvet members appear living in different worlds with different occupations. Although the members do not meet each other, they participated in the filming to create a direction that gives the feeling of coexisting in the same world.

At the filming site, the members were captured acting out various occupations according to their respective settings. One member performed a shoot using props while playing the role of a patissier in a kitchen, and another member participated in the shoot taking on the role of an 'animal fair' who chicly cares for animals. In addition, various settings reflecting the members' personalities were filmed, such as scenes of achieving the dream of being a photographer.

"The members had many meetings"... Changed concepts and preparation process

Red Velvet underwent close communication among the members while preparing for this VCR. The members stated that they held many meetings to decide how to show their respective characters within the setting of a parallel universe, and that the concept was continuously changed during that process.

At the filming site, the members' ideas for using props or creating a specific atmosphere continued. The process of immersing themselves in the set characters was shown, such as using champagne props or contemplating menus for food-related direction. During the filming, the members also adjusted the atmosphere on set by conversing about foods they wanted to eat (pasta, cheese, salt bread, etc.).

As this VCR captures the different lives lived within a parallel universe, the members expressed their hope that fans visiting the FAN-CON will enjoy watching this setting. The filming was conducted while considering the members' condition, and the shoot was completed with various angles and directions according to the roles assigned to each member.
