Singer Parc Jae Jung shared the physical conditions and song interpretation methods required to increase the completeness of a song. Appearing on the 1theK Live content 'Music Recipe', Parc Jae Jung introduced his self-composed song 'The End of the Season' and provided specific vocal tips.

"A unique structure where the verse is higher than the chorus"... Song composition and lyric interpretation

In the video, Parc Jae Jung revealed that 'The End of the Season' is a song that expresses the concept of time through seasons, and he created it because he wanted to show his grown self through words. He mentioned as a structural feature of the song that the vocal range of the verse is higher than the start of the chorus. Parc Jae Jung explained the composition, saying, "I made a unique song where the verse is high and the chorus is low, but it sounds cool when you sing it."

He added detailed explanations regarding the lyric interpretation. Mentioning the lyrics that reminisce about the past in the introduction, Parc Jae Jung stated that he infused personal emotions into the lyrics, noting that while he might have contacted someone he missed during his 20s, now that he is in his 30s, he cannot do so while considering reality. Furthermore, he explained that he connected the protagonist's narrative by bringing the expression "cold sighs pile up in the sky" from the lyrics of 'My Grain', a track from his 1st full album, into the bridge lyrics of this song.

"Air control and pitch maintenance"... Vocal strategies spanning high and low notes

Regarding the difficulty of the song, Parc Jae Jung emphasized the need to utilize a wide vocal range from low to high notes. He advised following the flow of the song, saying, "You must remember to be calm at first and relax, then feel like you are singing strongly at the end." In particular, he added that one must pay attention to pitch in the low sections as there is a high possibility of the pitch wavering.

As a specific vocal technique, he cited the use of 'Air'. Parc Jae Jung explained that when singing lyrics such as "I guess I just have to live on" or "Because I don't want to see you anymore" in certain sections, one must use and control the air differently than before. Additionally, he mentioned that if one becomes short of breath in high-note sections and the pitch becomes unstable, countermeasures such as pulling the microphone away slightly are necessary.

"The key to high notes is pressure"... Suggests physical training through push-ups

Parc Jae Jung presented 'pressure' as the core element for singing high notes well. He stated, "Singing high notes well is thanks to pressure," and explained that physical support capability is required for this. To explain this, he demonstrated push-up movements and suggested a way to control physical pressure.

Parc Jae Jung said, "Since the body shakes when doing push-ups, the ability to support is necessary," and noted that it is helpful to practice producing high notes while doing push-ups with knees on the ground at first. He explained that through such physical training, one can learn the feeling of applying pressure to the body, and added that this pressure control will help in honing all songs, including 'The End of the Season'.
