A narrative comparing breakup to tag: the message of the first EP

In the released performance, Kim Kyoul unfolded the core narrative of her first EP through music. 'Tag' conveys the pain of watching a lover leave and the words left unsaid through the metaphor of a game of tag. The song depicts the moment of parting, singing of the gap between the fleeing partner and the heart chasing them, while describing how she cannot even tell the departing person not to get hurt, but must catch her breath and leave the place before tears fall.

'Older Sister', performed together, captures the psychological changes Kim Kyoul felt during the process of moving from the position of the youngest to becoming an older sister. Through this stage, Kim Kyoul emphasized the thematic consciousness of the album by vividly delivering songs from her first EP, which was released on October 16. Kim Kyoul's musical narrative continued through a time when hearts hidden somewhere in the forest are discovered one by one.
