Appearing on KBS 'The Seasons - Sung Si-kyung, Your Eardrum Boyfriend', Jung Seung-je expressed his nervousness regarding his first appearance on a music program and mentioned the difference between an entrance exam briefing and a music show.

Jung Seung-je revealed his feelings of nervousness ahead of his first appearance on the program. He said, "I'm not usually the type to get nervous, but I'm so trembling," and lightened the atmosphere with a joke that if this were an entrance exam briefing instead of a music show, he would not have been nervous. Despite stepping onto the stage without knowing who else was appearing, he showed his characteristic sociability by drawing cheers from the audience.

Confessions of a mathematics instructor approaching 50

With only two months left in his late 40s, Jung Seung-je continued talking about his age. He joked, "According to hospital age, I'm still 49," while sharing his honest feelings about approaching 50. Jung Seung-je reminisced about the past, saying, "I've spent my whole life just solving math all day long, and I feel that way now."

In particular, he confessed to the strange emotions arising from the changing environment around him as time passed. He said that since last year, there have been cases where those visiting as parents are younger than him, making him feel "as if I was the only one walking in place." He expressed the regret he felt amidst the passage of time, saying, "I am constantly just making textbooks and saying 'you must know this' in front of the chalkboard, while it feels like everyone else has passed me by."

However, he soon composed himself, saying, "But I am still happy." He emphasized that the time spent with chalk was by no means meaningless, showing pride in the path he has walked as a mathematics instructor.
