"Until the audience drops off" Sung Si-kyung announces weekly Thursday live concerts
Sung Si-kyung revealed his new performance plans, stating that his passion for performing has been reignited recently. Having started performing again since last year, he expressed great joy and shared his ambition to continue the performances every Thursday until the audience numbers decrease. This series of performances is scheduled to begin on November 19. While preparing for the shows, Sung Si-kyung said, "Since I hadn't been performing for a while and started again last year, it feels so good," adding, "Let's try doing it weekly until the audience drops off."

Having found joy in conversing with people through hosting radio for a long time, he plans to design the stage as a space for communication where he listens to the stories of the audience and shares their concerns. He explained the nature of the performance, saying, "Calling it counseling for worries is a bit much since I am also a person with many worries, so what kind of counseling could I do? It's just us talking and worrying together."
Sung Si-kyung mentioned that there is no great burden as the performance is composed of singing about 7 songs. Furthermore, as he will be standing on stage with old friends, he expressed expectations that a comfortable atmosphere, as if returning to childhood, will be created. He showed affection for the performance, saying, "Even on stage, it feels like we are truly returning to our childhood, if I may say so."

Senior singer Lee Hyun-woo and BTOB's Lee Chang-sub joined the gathering that day. Lee Hyun-woo conveyed the passion he felt upon resuming performance activities recently, and Lee Chang-sub shared news about his recently released remake mini album and upcoming concert. Lee Chang-sub recently released a remake album and will hold a concert at the Seoul Arts Center from October 16 to 18. Lee Chang-sub explained that the concert venue was changed to the Seoul Arts Center due to issues making the original Jeonju Handball Gymnasium impossible.
Lee Hyun-woo drew attention by singing Lady Gaga's 'Always Remember Us This Way' on stage that day. Regarding his live performance accompanied by piano playing, Sung Si-kyung shared his impression, saying, "I have been a fan since I was young," and "Looking at him now, he is a singer with a wild beauty tone." Mentioning his past experience in a rock band, Lee Hyun-woo expressed his desire to show various musical colors on the performance stage, having primarily focused on ballad-oriented music.
The comfort music provided and the listening environment of the past
The conversation led to musical memories of the past. Recalling the memories of the IMF era when Lee Hyun-woo's hit songs were released, they talked about the comfort music provided to the public at that time. Recalling the time when Lee Hyun-woo's songs were released, Sung Si-kyung said, "Back then, listening to music was one of the greatest comforts." He mentioned that in the era before smartphones or OTT, listening to the radio and searching for favorite music to listen to was a major form of entertainment and solace for teenagers.
Explaining the listening environment of the past regarding the situation at that time, Sung Si-kyung said, "Listening to the radio and searching for, editing, and listening to the music I like—this was a very large form of entertainment and a certain solace and comfort. My Walkman was the only way to enter my world, my space, before smartphones."
